A new Facebook page is trying to discredit family members of President Donald Trump, as well as some of the people he has hired and fired as White House officials. The page — called ‘The Truth About the Trumps’ — calls for a “truth campaign” on social media, and has amassed more than 1,000 likes, according to The Washington Post.

Facebook is cracking down on pages and users who promote hate speech. That’s a new trend, one Facebook has said is part of an effort to make the platform more inclusive.

But the truth about the Trumps isn’t exactly the truth. The page’s creator — an anonymous account that’s connected to a woman’s page and has more than 2,000 followers — is pushing a conspiracy theory about Pelosi’s daughter. On Monday, the woman started her Facebook account with the username “Caitlyn Moore” and posted a photo of herself from the year her father was elected House speaker. She used the same photo on several other occasions, including one last Thursday that showed her posing with Pelosi.

“I got him to come to the House and shake my hand. He said he was proud of me and he asked when I wanted to get married. So if you’d like to marry me we can pop the question at the end of our two years,” Moore wrote.

On Facebook, the woman’s post was shared tens of thousands of times, even by people she didn’t know.
